The sign in my room said, “Welcome Back”… and honestly, I needed that.

I’m entering a season of significant months: Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, and all the emotions that come with realizing both of my parents are gone.

No grandparents.
No parents.
Now I must learn how to carry grief while still gently and intentionally carrying myself.

For the last few months, stress, sadness, and depression pulled me away from my healthy habits and my peaceful square. But instead of disappearing into this season, I’m choosing to return to myself.

Healthy food.
Ocean air.
Quiet moments.
Rest.
Healing.

Not because life suddenly feels easy…

But because the best tribute I can give to my ancestors is to "live my life" as my dad said. It starts with peace
