Community Park Project Breaks Ground after Eight Years of Planning

Falcon Design Consultants is proud to support the City of Cochran with civil engineering and design services for its new community park, a project shaped by years of community advocacy and thoughtful planning.

Our team provided comprehensive services including drone-based topographic surveying, stormwater and erosion control design, grading, water and sewer utility design, bid assistance, and construction observation.

The 5.2-acre park will feature playgrounds, walking trails, a pavilion, restrooms, and other amenities designed to serve residents of all ages.

The project represents a meaningful investment in community infrastructure and quality of life, with construction expected to be completed by October.

Falcon Design Consultants was honored to serve as a table sponsor at the 25th Annual Georgia Association of Regional Commissions (GARC) Conference, held November 2025, at the historic King and Prince Resort on St. Simons Island. The 2025 conference welcomed approximately 250 elected officials, Regional Commission staff, state agency representatives, and community and corporate leaders—all united by a shared commitment to strengthening Georgia’s communities.

Over the three-day event, attendees participated in informative workshops, keynote sessions, and collaborative discussions led by state leadership and subject matter experts. These conversations explored infrastructure planning, economic development, transportation, environmental stewardship, housing, and other core topics that directly affect Georgia’s growing communities.
