A Heat Advisory has been issued for Loudoun County on July 1st, followed by an Extreme Heat Watch on July 2nd and 3rd. In response, Fairfax County has activated its Heat Plan from July 1st to July 3rd, citing extreme heat concerns.

As the Fourth of July weekend approaches, temperatures are expected to soar to a heat index of 112°F, posing potential health risks. It is essential to prioritize self-care and look out for others during this period of extreme heat.
