We’ve officially added bungee-resisted skating to the Edge Lab Sports training arsenal to help athletes push their mechanics, explosiveness, balance, and skating efficiency to another level.
By adding controlled resistance and dynamic instability, players are challenged to maintain strong posture, powerful stride mechanics, edge control, and full-body coordination throughout every rep. The result? Training that pushes beyond traditional skating drills and helps athletes develop strength and movement patterns that translate directly onto the ice.

Hockey has a way of bringing people together—and this was a great example of that. 🏒
Edge Lab Sports coaches Nick and Dustin had the opportunity to skate in the FBI vs. ATF charity game, supporting an incredible cause and playing in front of a packed crowd. đź‘Ź
They also had the pleasure of being coached by Alan May, who was incredibly welcoming and generous with his time.

One of our originals—training with us since we first opened.
Not new to the treadmill, Jakob was excited to get back to it after training on one in Maryland years ago… and he’s been putting in the work with us ever since.

Hard work pays off đź‘Š
The Roebuck boys have been making the drive from the Frederick / Hagerstown area to train with us—and they’ve been putting in the work every single session.
Focus. Effort. Consistency.
And it showed.
Both boys recently completed tryouts and made the teams they were aiming for—an awesome accomplishment and a reflection of the work they’ve put in over time.
What’s been just as rewarding for us is seeing how much they enjoy the process—showing up ready to work, having fun, and getting better each day.
Messages like this from their dad mean a lot to us… this is exactly why we do what we do.

We’re still looking to add a few more players to our Piedmont Predators 12U Girls team for the 2026–2027 season.
Coach Dustin (Edge Lab Sports) will be leading the group with a focus on development, confidence, and creating a positive team environment where players can grow, take risks, and truly enjoy the game.
