"🚶‍♀️ Exciting News, Sterling! 🚶‍♂️
The NCHA Peer Support Team is excited to announce that we’re now offering an evening Community Wellness Walk in addition to our regular morning walk!
💙 Every Wednesday
🌞 Morning Walk: 9:00 AM – 10:30 AM
🌙 Evening Walk: 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
We heard your feedback and wanted to make our walks more accessible by offering two different times each week, making it easier for more members of our community to join us!
📍 We meet at the South Pavilion and begin walking about 10 minutes after the scheduled start time so no one gets left behind. We’ll also have free bottled water available to help everyone stay hydrated!
Our Community Wellness Walk is open to everyone—individuals, families, children, and even your friendly, well-socialized pets are welcome!
This is a great opportunity to:
✅ Get active
✅ Meet new people
✅ Build healthy connections
✅ Learn about local resources you may not even know are available right here in Sterling
Whether you’re looking to improve your physical health, support your mental wellness, or simply enjoy time outdoors with others, we’d love to have you join us.

Then Saturday, July 4 is the big one. The Heritage Festival runs all day, with a variety of free activities and performers.

And once it gets dark, head to Pioneer Park for fireworks over the prairie.
