Well now I wonder Aspen had 12 seizures on 3/1/25 that started her decline before she passed away! She had never had a seizure before.

Recently we have seen a trend of dog foods changing their formulas and adding 𝑹𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝑬𝒙𝒕𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕 or 𝑹𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒚 to their formulas. Foods are adding this as it is a natural preservative. Obviously natural solutions are better than synthetic 𝐇𝐎𝐖𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜 𝐚𝐝𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐬 𝐢𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐲 𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐧𝐨𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐞.

It is very important that you check your dog food ingredients or even just google search or Chat GTP asking “has (your dog food) formula changed in the last year?” As often formulas add ingredients that may not work with your dog like adding chicken or subtracting other ingredients.

26 years ago today we had our first and only litter of Golden Retriever puppies! Lakota our dog had 7 girls and the dad Cody was my brother in laws Golden retriever. They mostly went to family! We had the welping box ready with the heat lamps and that day May 1st 2000 in Aurora, Colorado. It was so hot (our condo did not have air conditioning it was a garden level you didn’t used to need it!) I had to go out and buy a swamp cooler fan because we were at or close to the 100 degree mark! But we had so much fun, it was a labor of love! We ended up with 2 pups from the litter - Sunny and Raz. Which is now of course the name of my business Sunshine and Razberry! They were as opposite in personality as you could get and our pack of 3 goldens got along great! We loved them so much! We miss our “Girls” they are forever in our hearts waiting for us at the Rainbow Bridge!
