Cascades Library

Can't make it to one of our scheduled programs this summer? That's okay, we have many activities that you can participate in whenever you visit the library. From our puzzle table for older kids and adults, our scavenger hunts for children, our manipulatives station for our youngest library friends to our dinosaur community art project for all of our crafty visitors. Stop by to grab a dinosaur template, take it home to decorate and then bring it back to be added to our growing art project. Take a look at the creative progress so far. 🦖 See you at the library!

This patron filled her Passport to LCPL in a single day! Dana and her dad started at Ashburn Library at 10:40 a.m. and completed all 10 branches, finishing at Sterling Library at 2:48 p.m.

In their own words: "This challenge not only educated Dana about all the libraries in the system but gave her an understanding of areas of Loudoun County we have never visited and how to plan for achievement when you have a goal."

That's exactly what the Passport to LCPL is all about. Congratulations, Dana from Ashburn, you earned it! You still have time to complete your own passport. Register for Summer Reading and visit all 10 branches by Sunday, Aug. 16, to earn an additional entry for the grand prize drawing.
