We are currently looking for full time (7 to 8 hours), part-time (6 hours or less), substitutes (hours vary), and van drivers. We are open Monday through Friday from 6am to 6pm.
OVERVIEW OF POSITIONS WE ARE HIRING FOR:
A Toddler Caregiver is responsible for maintaining a safe and fun environment for children ages 18 months to 2 years old. The duties include producing creative and educational activities, ensuring the children have good hygiene, changing diapers as needed, serving meals and maintaining a clean environment for them.
A Pre-Kindergarten Caregiver is responsible for maintaining a safe and fun environment for children ages 3 to 5 years old. The duties include producing creative and educational activities, ensuring the children have good hygiene, supervising potty training, serving meals and maintaining a clean environment for them.
An After School Hangtime Caregiver/Full Time Summer Caregiver (afterschool during the school year and all-day during summer) is responsible for maintaining a safe and fun environment for children ages 6 to 12 years old. The duties include helping with homework, producing creative and educational activities for inside and outside time, ensuring the children have good hygiene, serving meals and maintaining a clean environment for them.
An AM/PM Van Driver will take kids to and from school on our Happy Days van. They require certain vehicle transportation training for the position and must be 21 or older. Van drivers will help prep breakfast for school kids in the AM before taking them to school. They are responsible for the children when they enter and exit the van. They guide the children in how to behave on a vehicle and how to enter and exit safely. Our van drivers also substitute for our teachers and teacher aides when needed.
A Substitute Caregiver is responsible for maintaining a safe and fun environment for children 18 months to 12 years old. The duties include following the creative and educational activities the classroom teacher has prepared, ensuring the children have good hygiene, supervising potty training or changing diapers, serving meals and maintaining a clean environment for them.
MUST HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:
Education level- GED/ High School Diploma
Must be at least 18 years or older
Must pass a criminal background check and FBI check
Certified in CPR/1st Aid
Certified Food Handlers
Preferably but not required, at least 12 months' experience with children in a group setting, or at least 6 months' experience and 12 credit hours in early childhood education.

Caring and compassionate attitude when interacting with and caring for children,
Strong verbal communication and listening skills to converse with children, fellow professional caregivers and parents or guardians
Excellent patience and stamina for keeping up with the demands of children of all ages
Advanced multitasking and organizational skills to handle multiple children at a time
Physical abilities– Must be able to bend, stoop, stand, and lift up to 25-40 lbs. daily

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Child Care Workers are responsible for the well-being of the children under their care. They must monitor the children all day to ensure that they play and interact with one another in a safe and appropriate manner. Some of their typical duties include:
Ensuring the children have good hygiene and changing diapers as necessary
Cleaning interactive areas throughout the day
Preparing meals and snacks for the kids
Organizing activities and developing curriculum for older children
Developing a schedule for the children to maintain throughout the day
Keeping records of each child’s progress, interests and any problems that may occur
Maintaining contact with the children’s parents and contacting them in case of an emergency.
