Together with NYC Council Majority Whip Kamillah Hanks Council Member-D49, Minority Leader David Carr, and the New Dorp Lane District, SIEDC helped transform three Staten Island commercial corridors with hundreds of American flags in celebration of America's 250th Anniversary, all while encouraging residents and visitors to explore our local businesses.

Who hung the flags along 3 Staten Island commercial corridors for the country’s 250th anniversary? Organizers said the display was designed to honor Independence Day while enstilling community pride across Staten Island’s commercial corridors.

Thank you to the team at National Grid for stopping by the SIEDC office yesterday. It was a pleasure to welcome back Bryan Grimaldi, Imran Ansari, and Andrew Mulvey, while also officially welcoming our newest board member, Tommy Scarangello, who will represent the utility on our Board of Directors.
