Penn State Traditional American Indian Powwow returns March 28-29 ⭐

The 20th annual Penn State Traditional American Indian Powwow will be held March 28–29 at the C3 Sports Complex, 200 Ellis Place in State College.

Admission is free, and the weekend event that celebrates American Indian culture, dance, food, and community is open to everyone.

HOMETOWN VOICES, your local reading & performance series, will have the first event of the fall season!

On Sunday, September 28, at 3pm, poet and faculty member at Penn State Altoona, Todd Davis, will be reading alongside his son, poet Noah Davis, at Tempest Studios (140 Kelly Alley). All readings are free and open to the public. Parking in the Fraser Deck (located just above Tempest Studios) is free on Sundays. Come enjoy local writers and support your creative community!

The key themes in Arthur Miller's The Crucible were introduced in 1953 and are, unfortunately, as relevant today as when he wrote those words.

Join us on Sunday for discussion of Miller's works - from the devastating effects of trying to find the American Dream to the mass hysteria from fear, we'll be talking and reading from The Crucible, All My Sons, and Death of a Salesman.
