Most of the time I don't have the heat running in the garage and the original door was uninsulated. I really don't like store bought doors at all so decided to make my own. Rabbited the edge of maple faced 3/4" plywood and sandwiched 1" polystyrene between them and glued it all up. Used high end weatherstripping and a brush threshold seal from. Conservationtechnology.com. Now I got a high end door that was relatively inexpensive and seals like a bank vault.

Repurposed an old mountain bike through axle today and made this binocular/weather station holder that fits into my tripod's arca clamp.

Repaired the valves on this vintage State College bathroom sink recently. Parts for fixtures this old are getting harder and harder to find. I clamped the valve body in the lathe and drilled out the old valve seat. I then soldered a new one in its place saving the customer from replacing the whole fixture.
