Domo arigato gozaimasu & Shizuoka! The past 5 days have been an absolute whirlwind of laughter, food, culture and amazing humans. We met so many incredible people: volunteer translators, festival staff, fellow performers, and so many sweet members of the audience. Thank you so much for the warm welcome to Japan!

Since August, we worked daily on translating our show into Japanese and adapting it for the audience here. But until we began on Friday, we had no idea how it would be received. We are relieved to say we actually managed to be funny in a foreign language, and want to give a huge shoutout to and .craig for your guidance on this project.

The world needs art, community and laughter. We feel very lucky to be a part of making a little magic happen in Shizuoka. ❤️🇯🇵
