β οΈ THIS SCAM HIT CLOSE TO HOME β LITERALLY.
The Martin County Sheriff's Office and Florida Sheriffs Association are warning residents about the Federal Jury Duty Scam that is still hitting hard right here in our community.
These scammers called our own owner. They were extremely well-spoken, had real personal information, and told him he needed to report to the local Sheriff's department for a fingerprint analysis. It sounded completely legitimate because they do their homework.
This is not a random robocall. These are calculated, researched, and convincing attacks.
π¨ Real law enforcement will NEVER call you demanding money or immediate action.
π¨ If you missed jury duty, you will receive written notice β not a phone call threatening arrest.
π¨ HANG UP. Then call your local Sheriff's office directly using a verified number to confirm.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is warning businesses and the public about a growing trend in cyber-enabled cargo theft schemes targeting the transportation and logistics industries.
Criminals are using spoofed emails, fake websites, and compromised company accounts to impersonate legitimate brokers and carriers. These scams are designed to steal high-value shipments by rerouting cargo from its intended destination for resale.
According to the FBI, cargo theft losses in the United States and Canada reached nearly $725 million in 2025 - a 60% increase from the previous year.
Common warning signs include:
β’ Emails using fake or slightly altered company domains
β’ Requests to download documents from suspicious or shortened links
β’ Unexpected shipment requests or load assignments
β’ Phone numbers linked to temporary VOIP services
β’ Unauthorized changes to company contact or account information
To protect your business:
β’ Independently verify shipment requests and pickup information before releasing cargo
β’ Use multi-step verification for all freight transactions
β’ Avoid clicking suspicious links or downloading unexpected documents
β’ Carefully review email addresses and website URLs for minor spelling changes
β’ Maintain records of drivers, vehicles, license plates, DOT numbers, and communications related to shipments
Businesses are encouraged to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity to law enforcement immediately.

Does your server closet look like this? π
You're not alone. We see it all the time β businesses outgrow their original "just make it work" network setup, and suddenly nothing works reliably.
Here's a recent client's BEFORE and AFTER. Same business, same building. The difference? A proper UniFi network, Cat6A cabling, and a rack built for a real business instead of a weekend project.
No more:
β Random Wi-Fi drops
β "Which cable is which?"
β Overheating equipment
β Guest Wi-Fi on the same network as your accounting data
