Diego dedica su investigación a escuchar el océano. A través del estudio acústico de las ballenas jorobadas, analiza sus cantos y vocalizaciones para comprender mejor su comportamiento, y su comunicación.

Su trabajo es fundamental para identificar cómo el sonido influye en la vida de estas ballenas y para generar información que apoye su conservación. Ahora busca asistir a la 2ª Reunión Internacional para el Estudio de los Mamíferos Acuáticos, donde podrá compartir sus hallazgos, aprender nuevas metodologías y fortalecer su formación como investigador en bioacústica marina.

Diego dedicates his research to listening to the ocean. Through the acoustic study of humpback whales, he analyzes their songs and vocalizations to better understand their behavior, and communication.

His work is essential for identifying how sound influences these whales and for generating information that supports their conservation. He now hopes to attend the 2nd International Meeting for the Study of Aquatic Mammals, where he will share his findings, learn new methodologies, and continue growing as a marine bioacoustics researcher.
