SDAF supports resident-led ideas that bring neighbors together and strengthen neighborhoods. Funding is available to neighborhood groups and informal resident collectives in eligible areas.

📢 Important update! The application deadline for the Neighborhood Storytelling Practice (NSTP) has been extended until Friday, April 10 — don’t miss your chance to apply!

ℹ️ Purpose
The NSTP is a 9-month pilot initiative that amplifies resident voices, builds neighborhood pride, identifies and uplifts stories, and shifts narratives through individual + collective place-based storytelling.

📌 Who’s Eligible?
This storytelling opportunity is open to residents living in or with a connection to the Greater Ville, Kingsway East, and The Ville.

No storytelling or artistic experience is required. Eligible applicants must be 18 years of age or older.

📢 Get ready! Our partner, 4theville, is hosting a block party to celebrate the nearing completion of the MLK Blvd Plan. Join your neighbors at Blvd Dream Info Center (4144 Dr. Martin Luther King Drive) on Saturday, March 21, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
