If you know St. Louis techno, you know Anode Records. Founded by veteran DJ and producer Ron S. in 1996, Anode has spent decades defining the "Midwest sound"—that perfect blend of raw, jackin’ energy and gritty, industrial-leaning soul. The label has served as a vital platform for local legends, experimental artists, and Midwest heavyweights alike, bridging the gap between old-school warehouse vibes and modern production.
