There is Zero excuse to leave pets outside in cold or hot weather - and anyone that knows of a neighbor, friend or family member who is doing so, needs to do something to help - if they won’t listen, report them with local police and animal control - do the right thing!

It's a reminder to remember the animals in this bone chilling cold. They don't like these temperatures either!

Dangerous temperatures, snow, and ice are all on the way. Snow is supposed to start tomorrow afternoon, so let's do as much as we can before it gets here!! We need Donna on the streets saving suffering animals, so we need YOUR help! We have put together Emergency BLIZZARD Rovernight sign-ups (come get a dog for a few days!) AND a foster class today at 3:30pm and another tomorrow at 10:30am!

If you absolutely cannot take in a dog or cat, please consider covering a hotel stay for one of our staff members! With over 120 dogs, clinic patients, and kitty cats, we have to be here, even when there is snow and ice. Luckily, there is a hotel across the street, so our staff can spend the night and walk over Sunday morning. Hotel rooms are $115 each: Strayrescue.org/snowstorm
