Attending the best gala with my networking IKAGG family to support Gaitway at the ranch was a wonderful way to spend a Friday Night!
Teen girls and adult women get to participate in life skills and lessons through horsemanship at no cost to their family because of the generous hearts and phenomenal fundraising on nights like this and the streeeeccchhhhtttinnng of $$$ by the organization.
The girls each made an item to go with the theme “Wildflowers and Wild Horses” for the live auction.
Some hi lights: witnessing a solo belted out by one of the girls, interactions with he girls and their families as the volunteers of the night, experiencing community singing “Country Roads”, starfish story that already meant so much served as a reminder of how I choose to live.
What started months ago as a plan to meet with Heather for a 1:1, turned into about 10 of us dually celebrating Ashlie’s birthday at the ranch over lunch. And next thing you know… over bday treats that day we vowed to have a table for the gala.
I’m so so glad we did!
*NOTE: my 6 yr old niece insisted I take her pink cowgirl hat bc I just wasn’t blingy enough 🎆 & I’m not one to let down a 6 yr old…
