Really great interview with James Gunn on the Howard Stern Show Sept 10th 2025 episode. And Howard played a snippet of the Icons song “Sunday” as well as Howard mentioning The Icons and that he enjoyed rocking the song. Big thanks Howard Stern!!!

This may not seem like a lot compared to The Eagles but for an underground St. Louis band, this is a big deal. … over 1000 monthly listeners on Spotify currently. And our surprise hit “Sunday” is close to breaking 3000 listens with “What it Takes To Be A King” about to break 2000.
Thanks to those tuning in! And if you haven’t given “Starla” or “Sleep” or “If You Were Dying” a listen yet, give them a shot. … songs with a dynamic build exemplary of The Icons writing style with the one of a kind Gunn lyrics.
