We Love to celebrate the things Our Members Create and do, even out in the "real" world.

Participating in and then winning People’s Choice Award would qualify :)

Recently we had several members participate in Perennial's ( http://perennialstl.org ) annual Redesign Showcase. Where teams are given an item sourced from St louis alleys. They are encouraged to re-use as much as possible to remake the item into something new or unique. Items are then auctioned off as a Fundraiser

More info for this year is here :

I Borrowed a short part of the write up from team member Chris B. :

“Gladys” is a games cabinet that used to be a sewing machine table. I designed and created her with a team from Arch Reactor. (My amazing team mates were Beth K., Diane S., and Kim S.) The new cabinet features a small footprint (13″x17″), flip top access to a larger surface, storage area including movable storage, built in flippable game boards, all game pieces and rules, original and remixed details from the original.

Check out this video for a quick tour.
