Broken Mallet

This was one of the most unique projects I've had the opportunity to work on. This is a motorcycle guardian bell. It protects the rider on their bike. It's usually metal and associated with Celtic lore but I was asked to make one from leather and this was my interpretation.
I did Celtic knots around the border and then added the boar, tied to strength in Celtic mythology.

Latest project finished! This bracer/sheath was made for a quilter who needed scissors within reach while working with the quilting machine. Loved the color of the dye and how the whole project turned out overall.
