It's rare to find someone equally at home in DevOps infrastructure and AI governance research, but Syed Huzaifa Bin Afzal

is working in both. He has six years of hands-on experience and a co-authored Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers paper to show for it.

A graduate student in the Master of Cybersecurity & Leadership program at the University of Washington Tacoma, his work sits at one of the most consequential intersections in business today: the responsible adoption of AI at the enterprise level. His research on Shadow AI risks and secure generative AI go beyond academics and helps organizations navigate decisions that carry real ethical and operational weight.

What drives it all? A commitment to leading with intention.

We wish Syed continued success!
