We hope this message finds you well, enjoying the beauty of Spring wherever you are in the world. Here at Anthropedia, we have been busy focusing our efforts on growing our programs and impact in exciting ways. Today, we want to highlight the work we have been doing in our Take the Time program, a partnership between Anthropedia and Mental Health America of Eastern Missouri.
Over the last 12 months, thanks to our generous donors and grants from Saint Louis County Children’s Service Fund and Missouri Foundation for Health, we have created a new program to serve the well-being needs of our region.
Take the Time provides free Know Yourself wellness coaching and education to individuals who live or work in Saint Louis City and County. Since June of 2021, we have provided coaching to over 150 individuals including teachers, nurses, counselors, parents, students, and community members from all walks of life. In partnership with MHA-EM, over 5,000 people have participated in workshops, seminars, and community education programming.
Our community-based coaching programs have evolved and grown throughout the years. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, we have been able to provide free and sliding-scale coaching for a variety of individuals, including clients of the Transition Center and Saint Patrick Center, as well as those who live or work in Jefferson County or Kirkwood-Webster. And now, with the Take the Time project, we are able to serve the entire Saint Louis region.
Today is Give STL Day, a regional effort across Saint Louis to support local nonprofits. This year we are asking for your support of our Take the Time program so that we can continue to provide coaching that is accessible and affordable to people in need.
Thank you for your ongoing support of our mission, and keep a look out for some exciting updates in the coming months!

“…when people ask me about myself, I would say first I'm Tracy Stanton, 39-year-old poet, community activist, board member, and organizer. I love to write, talk, and be a part of community. But, before I got to be this individual, I was Tracy [the] survivor of sexual assault, survivor of community violence.”
Join us Wednesday, December 8th at 7pm CT to hear Tracy’s story and other stories of hope from our coaches, clients, and community partners.
