A year ago today we lost by beloved Pop, who was also my absolute HERO. Sometimes it feels longer than that, sometimes feels like yesterday. I always tried to comfort friends and family with similar losses, but you can never really know that type of hurt until you experience it yourself. I’d be lying if I said life has been better, because it hasn’t. Grief is the price you pay for truly loving someone in life, at the time of a loss. I’m reflective today, and I try to replace those valleys with gratitude. As I tell my sons, “We can always be down, because life is hard, but we cannot stay there.” Thank you to anyone who prayed for, thought about, reached out to check on my sister , my Mom, and the rest of my family. Thank you to my community here, on Twitch, and FB for keeping us lifted. I appreciate you more than you will ever know. Keep hitting the greens in Heaven Pop🙏🏾 - Tank
