Howl About It

A local Girl Scout troop invited me out to chat about how dogs assist people, and I invited Kat along. We went over service work, herding, bite work, blood tracking, and other forms of tracking. We also talked about how there's a sport counterpart to some dog jobs, like how I am training for mondioring with Kavinsky, and how Kat plans to do herding trials alongside their dogs working farm chores. The girls definitely found it interesting and the dogs had a blast demonstrating things and saying hello to the troop!

This is the 2nd time I've been invited out to do something like this and it's always such a blast and I'm happy to do so!
