I started working with cardboard in 2014 when one of my kids wanted to be a train for Halloween. I quickly came to realize the versatility of cardboard as an art medium, and since I had an abundance of it from a recent move, decided to try making gifts for my family and friends. Check out this paper clay! I decided to mix some light blue acrylic into the clay before spreading it. I think I’ll still add some tinting once it dries, but I really like the look of the paint mixed in.
