STLFD K-9 Search and Rescue Team

3 of our members just returned from Texas, where they trained alongside the Shreveport Fire Department K9 Search & Rescue Team & other rescue teams from around the country. While there for the week, 2 of the dogs honed their skills on live find area searches, while the other learned to detect human remains submerged in water. Training like this is essential to keeping our dogs performing at peak levels, in order to serve our community.
