It's the 2024 B3 Blowout down at BB's Jazz, Blues and Soups, and it'll be a sneak peek of what awaits you at the 2024 Soulard B3 Festival on May 19th, 2024. The Soulard B3 Festival is a SHARE Soulard production.

SHARE Soulard Donates to Normandy High School Music Program

“Participating in this event gave our students an opportunity to stretch outside our day-to-day music program, study the history of traditional second line music, the instrumentation, genesis, style and the cultural impact,” Palmer said. “Then, this venture allows them to share what they have learned with the community in a very interactive way.”

If you love the live music of Soulard, you already know that among the fun music venues of Soulard is Hammerstones, and live music 7 days a week! Hammerstones is a active supporter of the Soulard B3 festival, and the team at SHARE wanted to show their appreciation.

Thanks to the behind the scenes efforts of Steve Eschbacher - drum sponsor of the 2023 B3 festival - the team at SHARE was able to present this framed drum head to Hammerstones, signed by the musicians of the 2023 B3 festival.

It's now a new annual tradition going forward for the Soulard B3 Festival to place one of these around town, and we were gathered for the 'hanging of' at Hammerstones yesterday. We hope you enjoy the photos as much as we enjoyed presenting this to the Hammerstones family!
