HEC Trio Upward Bound Presents: Back to School Tips! Get to know your guidance counselors. As we head back to school virtually or in person, it is important to know who your guidance counselor is and know how to get in contact with them. Counselors can help adjust your schedules and identify classes that you are required to take to graduate. Counselors can also help with other academic resources such as ACT or SAT prep!

HEC Trio Upward Bound presents: Resource Wednesday! Big Future is a free online college planning tool designed to support students from their first thoughts about college to their first day on campus. Big Future allows students to find colleges based on their preferences from major to location to teacher, student ratio and so much more!

Our goes to Mr. Marvin Bullard of HEC Trio Upward Bound. Mr. Bullard has been with the company for 8 years and is dedicated to helping our students realize their potential and has played an essential role in ensuring that they are prepared for college. Throughout HEC Upward Bound’s time teleworking, Mr. Bullard has spent countless hours, some days even beyond his work schedule, attending virtual college tours, college COVID-19 updates webinars, and more to gather information to share with our students and staff. Additionally, he is an active board member of St. Louis Graduates and has a wealth of knowledge of all things pertaining to college and career readiness. He is also a great team player and does not mind helping others when needed. We are so happy to have Mr. Bullard on our team.
