Long-term care reform is not a talking point — it is a moral imperative. Behind every nursing home door, every assisted living facility, every memory care unit, there is a human being deserving of dignity, respect, and protection. And I am committed to fighting for each and every one of them right here in St. Louis.

R.O.A.R. 2026 — Respect. Oversight. Advocacy. Reform — is a first-of-its-kind national movement, and Missouri is answering the call.

On Sunday, September 27, 2026, communities across this great nation will rise together for the inaugural National Long-Term Care Reform Day. This is not just a walk. This is a declaration — that we will no longer stand by while our most vulnerable are overlooked, underserved, and unheard.

Our elders built this world. Our disabled community members strengthen it. They deserve more than survival — they deserve dignity.

STL, I need you with me. Walk with me. Stand with me. ROAR with me.

It is with a grateful heart that I announce the official release of So Be It: A Dementia Caregiver's Guide to Standing in the Breach — and I would be honored to celebrate this milestone with you. This book was born out of faith, lived experience, and a deep calling to serve those who stand in the gap for their loved ones. It is written for the caregiver who is weary but pressing forward, for the family navigating the uncertainty of dementia, and for anyone who has ever had to trust God in the middle of a season they did not choose. So Be It is a declaration of surrender, strength, and unwavering faith.
