Usually, the name on the building stays the same, so you’d never know anything changed, but behind the scenes, everything is different. Decisions about what you’re charged, what parts are kept in stock, and how fast a mechanic has to work are being made in a corporate office hundreds of miles away.
When those big companies take over, the focus shifts. It stops being about the relationship with the driver and starts being about hitting "production quotas" and "selling the ticket." That model isn’t necessarily evil, but it’s a far cry from how this industry used to work.
At Cintech Automotive, we’ve decided to stay independent. The people who answer your calls and diagnose your engine are the same people making the decisions every single day. We don’t have corporate pressure to hit volume targets, and we don't have distant management breathing down our necks to prioritize profit over accuracy.
Being an independent shop is becoming a rarity these days, but we’re committed to it. We believe in taking the time to do a careful diagnostic and building long-term relationships with the people who trust us. We’d much rather answer to our customers than to a group of investors.
