MFG Day at SWIC was a success!

We had an amazing time connecting with the next generation of machinists at Southwestern Illinois College’s MFG Day. It’s always exciting to see so many students curious about CNC machining, programming, and the future of manufacturing.

Inspecting machined honeycomb parts just got faster and more accurate. The new Highest Filter for point clouds makes it easy to capture the true top edge of honeycomb cells using non-contact 3D scanners. No more relying on slow, error-prone probe measurements or shims.

Projects 3D scan data to a plane or CAD surface

Filters points within a search radius to find the highest point in each cell

Quickly creates a clean cloud of top-edge points for analysis
