Legends Motorcycle Museum owner, Rick Salisbury, has announced details for the 2022 “Legends and Legacies Memorial Run.”

The 3,300 mile ride will be held September 5 through September 25, 2022 and will feature antique motorcycles pre-dating 1930. Nearly 45 of the rarest motorcycles in the world will cross through 8 states and 16 cities between Kitty Hawk, NC to Santa Monica, CA in what is dubbed

Brian Pease — Legends and Legacies Foundation BRIAN WILL BE RIDING HIS 1917 HENDERSON 3-SPEED. For the L&L run Brian will hopefully have special pistons giving higher compression so that it runs cool and strong like his previous 1916 Henderson did, with essentially the same engine.

The most requested accommodation for this 3300 mile cross country journey is food and we listened.

Now our riders won’t have to worry about breakfast or dinner and the best part is that we have an on sight chef to prepare healthy options as well!

The breeze is light, the sun is low, and the living is good in Florence Alabama with its Muscle Shoals Sound.

Florence is nestled in the Tennessee River Valley, which the early Native American Indians named the “Singing River” because of the mystical sound of the water rushing over the river’s shallow water in areas known as “shoals.” The Valley is a now a vibrant mix of historic areas and quaint towns with new retail and restaurants.

You can hear the beat begin as you pull into town. The real soul of Florence is music, which can be found everywhere. This area is famous for the “Muscle Shoals Sound” that originated at several local famous recording studios in the 1960’s and continues to this day.
