Tech info: Canon R5 with RF 100-500mm lens plus 1.4x extender. Taken handheld at 700mm. Settings were 1/640 sec at f/10 and ISO 25600. Processed in Lightroom Classic.

A video and stills of the Osprey family at Mason Neck State Park. This is the first year since this nest was built and rebuilt three years ago that chicks have been successfully raised. I don't know if it is the same pair of Osprey. There are two chicks that appear almost ready to fledge!! Photos show male delivering fish to nest then leaving. The close up of one of the chicks shows the distinguishing white tips on feathers and orange eyes that identify it as a young Osprey. Video show female feeding one chick while other waits patiently. Last part of video shows one chick exercising its wings! Enjoy!!
