Violins of Hope is a project set up by Israeli master violin maker and player Amnon Weinstein who wanted to memorialize Jewish lives lost in the Holocaust by meticulously restoring surviving violins.

Hawaii needs our help. We were heartbroken to watch the Maui wildfires which devastated the communities there. The fires have killed dozens and wiped out the historic island of Lahaina. The people and communities in Hawaii need us.

The Jewish Federation of Springfield is privileged to host the internationally known exhibit called “Violins of Hope”, from September 7 - 13th, 2023. Each of these 12 violins has travelled the globe giving voice to how these special instruments inspired Holocaust victims with music of hope, strength and survival, The violins will be the centerpiece of six exceptional musical events at venues throughout Springfield.
