Working with hypnosis and healing methods has been so life changing for my clients and me. I just have to share a recent client’s story because it is truly remarkable! My client had developed a reflex that caused choking whenever they tried to drink fluids. It was the result of a real choking event in which they couldn’t breathe. Since then, the problem had caused them to retreat more and more from trying to drink: relying on ice chips to hydrate. It also interfered with eating. They came to me for hypnosis since their doctors and specialists could find nothing wrong physically.
The problem was very entrenched, and it took many sessions to change it. For my client, the results were worth investing in multiple session packages. Their doctors were also impressed with the results, and they were encouraged to continue treating it with hypnosis to override the physical PTSD caused by that first traumatic event. A side benefit to the sessions was that they also overcame their fear of climbing ladders! We were able to address two big issues.
