The bottom one is the dealership quote.
Before saying yes, we asked ChatGPT what this repair should cost.
That’s when we realized we were about to get scammed.
So we found a local mechanic who did the exact same work for more than half of what the dealership wanted.
Same repairs
Same parts
Same outcome
The only difference was the price.
Wild how a five-minute check can save you hundreds.
