Today was a big day for the Arts Council and for Springfield. Today, we released “This Place We Make,” our Cultural Plan for the future of arts and culture in our community. This 10-year plan has been a labor of love for our city, and we’re proud to steward it and work to advocate for arts in Springfield. So much more to come. Stay tuned for more information.

The Arts Council normally takes a breather in the month of July, but why do that when we could bring you another show to enjoy? This July, we’re partnering with The Best of Missouri Hands to bring you our new exhibit, “On the Road: The World We Create.” This show is extra exciting because we have art shipped in from all over Missouri. Unbox some art with Claire for the exhibition!
The opening reception for this exhibit is on July 10 from 5-7PM at the Creamery Arts Center. Come see the show!
