Techline, who was our Sports Lighting supplier for the Legacy Pointe Sports Park sent us these drone pictures with all the fields lit up! Have to admit it looks amazing, even if we say so ourselves!!

B&B recently had the honor of winning the CDB bid for rigging replacement at the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Museum. The project had an extremely tight schedule with only 3 months for completion. We were the Prime and General Contractor for the job. The existing backdrops and curtains were removed and reinstalled, theatrical controls upgraded, new panel added, existing wall mounted hoists and cabling removed and replaced with upper grid mounted equipment, theatrical lighting modified, and a new stairway installed to improve access to the upper grid area. The theatrical work was all performed by our Subcontractor Scenic Solutions out of Ohio who did an amazing job on this complex project! The structural steel and stairway work was performed by O’Shea Builders and they too did a wonderful job erecting the steel in an occupied building. We also had fantastic design firms and Museum Staff that worked with us every step of the way to make sure the project was a success . We could not have asked for a better team to work with! While not 100% complete, we are ahead of schedule to turn the Theater back to the Museum to resume shows first of December.

Inflation is usually a bad thing, but at Scheel’s Legacy Pointe Sports today it was far from that! The long awaited initial inflation of the 715’x 275’ Inflatable Dome! A lot of hard work to get to this point by many trade partners. B&B provided power to the facility to feed the three large air handlers and condensing units and also set and wired the back up generators . A lot of work to go to complete the electrical work. Hang 282 owner furnished light fixtures and tie in the low voltage networked control system along with completing power, data, and fire alarm. Can’t wait to see it when it is all done! B&B Electric was fortunate enough to be selected as the Electrical contractor for three new Fire Stations that were constructed for the City of Springfield in the past several months. Work has completed on all of them, the last being Fire Station #6 at 11th and Ash Street. This is Fire Station #13 that is located on Spaulding Orchard Road.
