The Communications/Sports Journalism major is designed to educate students in the fields of print, TV, radio and online journalism so that they may work in the media profession and/or pursue graduate studies in communications. A truly wonderful day for the entire family Monday, as national broadcasting personality JR Jackson (JR SportBrief, CBS Sports Radio) kicked off his coast-to-coast Media For The Movement tour with a stop on Alden Street.
JR spoke with a large group of current students, before spending the afternoon with a smaller contingent of radio/audio students. He then wrapped his night broadcasting his national show from WSCB 89.9 FM, and Birthplace Audio Studios.
