Family Service Center

The car show held last Sunday by organizer Dino George was a huge success!! There were 134 entries as well as numerous activities throughout the afternoon at Route 66 Hotel & Conference Center. Mr. George generously donated the proceeds from the event to Family Service Center totaling $2,467. We are grateful for community members that help support our mission!

Newcomers & Neighbors of Springfield collected donations for Family Service Center from August 2025 to May 2026. This women's group has 70 members whose objective is to develop friendships and social spirit among new residents and to promote their assimilation into the local community. Each year, the group chooses a local non-profit to support throughout their fiscal year. This past year, FSC was their chosen organization! This year, on May 13th, they presented FSC's Executive Director with a monetary donation of $1200! But there was so much more...
Every 2 months, they collected donations for children and families. This wonderful organization provided food, snack, hats & gloves, socks, hygiene items, diapers & wipes, Halloween costumes, and 146 toys for Christmas!
Family Service Center is so thankful for the support of this very generous civic organization as well as their members' time and efforts throughout the year to support FSC's children and families.
