Will open concepts still be a thing in 2025?

There are design perks of separate spaces, no doubt. It’s much easier to accomplish separate zones in a larger home though. In our little home (1800 sq ft) we removed walls to create a more open feel, but I try to create separation with furniture placement.

Rooms have their own personality, even in small, open floor plans that tend to be more cohesive. (All the same color and style).

Open floor plans are here to stay, but there is a growing trend towards more defined spaces or zones. Separate zones are easier to accomplish in a home that has more than 2,000 sq ft of living space.

Introducing our latest project! A sneak peak at our mid-century modern home renovation which will feature expansive views of nature and water!

We’re replicating the upscale and refined feel of a hotel. Our client has a true desire to create a “hotel-vibe, spa-like get-a-way” nestled in the heart of Springfield!

We redesigned the prairie style columns holding up the Porte-cochere, which is an element commonly found at a hotel. Flexibility when hosting is a priority and we’re creating comfortable gathering zones, akin to a hotel experience, including a luxury primary suite!
