I'm certain this might be a controversial take to some folks, but for me, the greatest blues harmonica player of all time is the legendary Rod Piazza out of Southern California. Even as a saxophone player, he's one of my biggest influences in both his playing and performance. I'm not sure why Rod Piazza and the Mighty Flyers Live at BB King's album isn't available on Spotify, but do yourself a favor and check it out on YouTube.

Let's give the man his flowers while we still can. Here's to you, Rod! You'll never know how much you have meant to me in my musical journey.
