Last Friday, several History Club members made the trek to Timmons Hall to see Akbar Cook speak for Black History Month, and several more joined on a stream. Thanks to Principal Cook for the awesome presentation!

We will be hosting a watch party for a talk hosted by Akbar Cook Sr. as a kickoff event for Black History Month this Friday!

These past two weeks, our Senior Seminar students (under the direction of Dr. Verney) presented their undergraduate research to their friends, families, and faculty members. Congrats, seniors!

Join us this Friday for a celebration of the start of the new academic year! There will be games, pineapple whip, snacks, and more. All friends of the Humanities are welcome!

Tomorrow evening, several Drury faculty members will be offering their perspectives and answering questions on the current state of American democracy. One of our very own history faculty, Dr. Michael Verney, will be on the panel. This event offers both in-person and online attendance opportunities!
