WHY ARE THESE BROWS BLUE? 💙 The answer may surprise you!

Sometimes, the problem isn’t the pigment color—it’s how DEEPLY it was implanted!

This client came to me with low-saturation, blue-looking brows done elsewhere using a carbon-containing pigment. After just ONE saline lightening session, we were able to improve the appearance of the blue without needing aggressive removal.

✨ Here’s the science: When pigment sits too deeply in the skin, light scattering can make it appear blue or gray. This is known as the Tyndall effect.

Saline lightening uses osmosis to help draw fluids through the skin and can assist in lifting implanted pigment as the area heals. In this case, bringing the pigment closer to the surface changed its appearance enough that additional removal wasn’t needed to address the blue tone.

The takeaway? Sometimes, correcting unwanted color isn’t about adding more pigment. It’s about understanding the science behind what’s already there! 🧪
