Springfield Community Players Springfield Community Players (SCP) traces back to the fall of 1920, with the purpose to “create and sustain interest in all matters pertaining to the drama.” SCP is still active, claiming the title of longest operating amateur theater group in Vermont.

Introducing the crew: Craig Woodbury - MR. BUNCE / SOUND
Craig discovered a love of theater in high school and has been participating in productions onstage and backstage ever
since. He has performed with local theater groups in the Claremont area and this his 4th play with SCP, having previously been in Clue on Stage, The Unexpected Guest,
and Rumors.

Introducing the crew:Tyler Maheu Lighting is participating in his first production with the Springfield Community Players. Born and raised in Newport, NH, he began his theatrical career as an ensemble member in Oliver! at the Newport Opera House his senior year of high school. Under the tutelage of Amy Christensen and Charles Massey, he found a passion for the art form.
He returned to the Opera House as a tech crew member on Once Upon a Mattress and Peter Pan, before joining the drama club at NHTI. There, he starred in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (abridged). The Woman in Black will be his first time running lights solo, and he hopes to be a part of many productions to come at SCP.
