Free Virtual Band Concert
The public is invited to a free virtual band concert at 1:00 pm on Sunday, March 21, 2021on Zoom. “Music to Spring Ahead,” will herald the first weekend of Spring with a music program guaranteed to turn dreary winter doldrums to thoughts of sunny days to come. The concert will be performed by members of the Sci-Tech Band, the recognized young musicians from Springfield’s High School of Science and Technology, and Music Director Gary Bernice will lead his group through an energizing, upbeat program. Bernice’s accomplishments are well known, as he has led the band program at Sci-Tech to award-winning performances and has amassed an impressive number of participants and followers. This concert promises to put a smile on everyone’s face.
You and your family are invited to join us for one hour of interactive fun, live music, and performance videos. This virtual event is FREE and will feature the SciTech Band Leadership Team. COVID-19 has forced us to cancel many events, but it can’t cancel community. Come celebrate student success in the arts and the hard work of all these talented students.
