May 17 through May 23, 2026 is National EMS Week 🚑

This week is intended to honor EMS, paramedics, and prehospital professionals! This year's theme, "Improving Outcomes, Together", focuses on collaboration between EMS, 911, fire, law enforcement, and public health partners.

Illinois community colleges offer robust, accredited training for EMT and Paramedic certification with hands-on clinical experience that culminates in AAS degrees and certificate pathways and prepares students for Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) licensure.
