SAAF is bringing a Drive-Thru Vaccine Clinic to Lucas Oil Speedway for the FIRST time ever! ❤️

Before the races begin that evening, come get your pets vaccinated and protected — all from the comfort of your vehicle!

This clinic is especially important for our rural communities where affordable and accessible veterinary care can sometimes be hard to find. Our goal is to help keep pets healthy, protected, and cared for close to home. 🐶🐱

On April 6, HavaHeart partnered with SAAF through the “Fixing the Future” Grant Program with one goal in mind:

🐾 Help more pets receive lifesaving veterinary care.

In just a short time, the impact of this partnership has already been incredible.

Because of HavaHeart’s support, together we have already provided:
✂️ 116 spay/neuter surgeries
💉 300+ core vaccines, including rabies vaccines
❤️ Relief, hope, and support to countless families and animals in our community

That means hundreds of pets are now protected from preventable disease.
Hundreds of animals are one step closer to a healthier future.
And hundreds of unwanted litters have been prevented before they ever begin.

This is more than numbers.
This is fewer homeless animals.
This is fewer pets suffering without care.
This is keeping pets with the families who love them.
This is community impact happening in real time.

🐾 COMMUNITY HELP NEEDED🐾

We don’t like having to ask for help for ourselves — but right now, our clinic truly needs it.

The flooring in our surgical prep area has significantly deteriorated and continues to worsen. Tiles are actively lifting and separating in one of the most heavily used areas of the clinic.

As we began assessing the damage, concerns were raised regarding older adhesive materials underneath the flooring, and we are working to have the area properly evaluated before repairs can continue safely.

This is an unexpected and potentially costly facility issue for our nonprofit clinic.

We are currently looking for:
🔹 Flooring professionals or contractors
🔹 Guidance regarding flooring evaluation and repair
🔹 Material donations or discounted services
🔹 Community sponsors or financial support to help us restore this area safely

Every day, SAAF provides affordable spay/neuter services and care for animals across Southwest Missouri. Keeping our surgical and prep spaces safe and functional directly impacts the animals, rescues, shelters, and families we serve.
