Andrea brings a unique balance of sharp analytical skills and a natural ability to connect through play. She thoughtfully embeds learning opportunities into engaging, meaningful interactions, making skill development feel fun and accessible for her learners. She is fully present in every session, meeting each learner where they are and helping them grow with patience, insight, and care.

She is also a true sponge for learning—constantly reflecting, asking thoughtful questions, and seeking new ways to support her learners' progress. Her curiosity and commitment to growth help make her an even stronger advocate for the children and families she serves.

We're so grateful for the energy, dedication, and heart she has brought to our team since Day 1!

Michelle has a remarkable ability to connect with children from a variety of backgrounds, creating safe, trust-based relationships through empathy, understanding, and genuine care. Because children feel supported by her, she is able to encourage them to take on challenges, build confidence, and develop important life skills.

She also brings that same sense of care to our team, helping create the strong, supportive community that makes ABLE special.

We're so grateful for the compassion, connection, and positivity she has brought since the very beginning!

Today we are celebrating Shayla P.!

When you work with children ranging from preschool age to early teens, no two sessions are ever the same. That's one of the many reasons Shayla has been such an important part of our team since Day 1.

Her creativity shines through in every thoughtfully planned activity, while her ability to play, connect, and build relationships allow children to feel comfortable and engaged. She understands the nuance required to support children across different ages, personalities, and developmental stages, and she approaches each session with care and intention.

Over the past year, we’ve had the privilege of supporting incredible children and families, and none of it would be possible without our dedicated team. Over the next few weeks, we’ll be introducing the amazing staff members who have helped build ABLE from the ground up.

We’re excited to celebrate their commitment, passion, and the difference they make every day.

We will be closed on Friday July 3rd, 2026 in observance of Independence Day.

ABLE Pathways will be closed on Monday, May 25th in observance of Memorial Day.

We will resume normal clinic operations and typical services on Tuesday, May 26th.

Movement is a big part of our sessions, and obstacle courses are a favorite for both clients and staff.

Our staff don’t just run sessions—we play! That’s the ABLE way.

We take birthdays seriously around here--we like to party!

One of our older clients planned their own celebration from start to finish, including making their own birthday ice cream to go with a cake they proudly brought to share. Based on their interests, we set up a projector so they could enjoy favorite movie clips, invite peers to join and share enjoyment with others.

For our younger clients, we focus on helping the environment signal that the day is different and special—balloons, bold colors, and fun new activities (like a novel ball pit!) help create excitement and engagement.

Every celebration is thoughtfully planned based on our client's interests. As a bonus, we also work hard to support treatment goals while practicing small-group social skills, flexibility and communication. Because meaningful milestones deserve to be honored—and learned from.
